How to setup a chatbot in
7 easy steps
Step 1 - Dashboard
Start by navigating to the dashboard of your chatbot platform. Look for the "AI Assistants" menu option on the left side of the screen and click on it. This will take you to the section where you can manage your AI assistants.
Step 2 -
Once in the AI Assistants section, locate the "Create New" menu at the top of the screen. Clicking on this will allow you to begin the process of creating a new chatbot persona.
Step 3 -
Create New Persona
In the Create New Persona interface, you'll be prompted to provide essential information about your new chatbot. This includes naming your bot, defining its purpose, and setting up initial responses. Fill out all the necessary fields to shape your chatbot's identity and capabilities.
Step 4 -
Web Chatbot Function
Look for the "Web Chatbot" function within the Additional Options Menu. Selecting this option will take you to the Web Chatbot Management Section. Here, you'll need to enter specific details that tailor the chatbot to your website's needs. Once all the required information is filled in, click the "Create" button to finalize the creation of your web chatbot.
Step 5 -
Test the Chatbot
Before deploying your chatbot, it's crucial to test its functionality. Engage with the chatbot through the platform's testing environment to ensure it responds as intended to various inquiries and commands.
Step 6 -
After testing, if you need to make any adjustments, go back to the edit chatbot menu. Here, you'll find a blue "code" button. Clicking this button will reveal the HTML code snippet needed to embed your chatbot on a website.
Your Chatbot is Live!
With the chatbot code successfully embedded, your chatbot is now live. Visitors to your website will be able to interact with the chatbot, receiving instant assistance and information as programmed.
